The best part of the transformer industry is the people who keep it moving forward. MVA enjoyed spending time with colleagues, customers, and new connections at the IEEE Power & Energy Society Transformers Committee meeting in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The meeting brought together professionals from across the transformer industry to exchange ideas, share experience, and contribute to the standards that support transformer reliability. For our team, it was also an opportunity to hear firsthand about the challenges businesses are facing and discuss ways MVA can help.
Good Conversations, Stronger Connections
MVA was proud to sponsor Tuesday’s breaks, giving attendees time to recharge, reconnect, and continue conversations between sessions. We appreciated everyone who stopped by to introduce themselves, catch up with our team, or talk through a transformer-related need.
Those conversations are a valuable part of every meeting. Learning about a customer’s maintenance priorities, an upcoming project, or a challenge in the field helps us better understand where our expertise can make a difference. Just as meaningful were the opportunities to reconnect with familiar faces and get to know the people behind the projects.
Transformer Expertise That Supports Your Team
Throughout the week, our team welcomed conversations about the connection between transformer oil diagnostics and hands-on field services.
MVA helps customers understand transformer condition through comprehensive transformer oil testing and diagnostics backed by expert interpretation. These insights support informed maintenance decisions, help identify developing concerns, and provide a clearer picture of transformer health over time.
Our transformer field services team brings hands-on expertise to assembly, testing, maintenance, and repair. Together, our laboratory and field specialists connect diagnostic findings with practical solutions that support long-term transformer reliability.
Whether a conversation started with an oil sample, a planned outage, or a specific service need, we enjoyed exploring how MVA’s transformer experts could support the teams responsible for these critical assets.
Supporting Progress Across the Industry
The IEEE PES Transformers Committee meeting provides an important setting for technical discussion and collaboration. Bringing different perspectives together helps the industry share knowledge, address common challenges, and strengthen the guidance used by transformer professionals.
MVA values the opportunity to participate in that work and stay connected with the people contributing to the industry’s future. The ideas exchanged during the meeting also reinforce the importance of continued learning and collaboration in our everyday work.
Thank You for Connecting with MVA
We returned home with new connections, fresh perspectives, and conversations we look forward to continuing. Thank you to everyone who spent part of the week with our team and shared what is happening at your organization.
We look forward to staying in touch and reconnecting in person at the spring meeting in Oklahoma City!
